Do you have to dunk cloth diapers in the toilet or rinse them before washing? Most sources say NO.
When babies are smaller their poop seems to be more runny in nature and it is super easy to just toss in the wash. When babies get older and start eating more solid foods it may become necessary to try and remove solid waste first, perhaps with conventional toilet paper and then toss in the wash. But relatively few moms still utilize the dunk and swish method in the toilet and if any still rinse it is usually with a diaper sprayer or Mini-shower.
Modern washing machines are more then capable of cleaning cloth diapers so just toss and forget it ![]()
