not stingy, frugal and that is a good good thing! We forget that part of being great moms is making the family dollars stretch as far as possible. Stingy is not feeding your kids when they are hungry or refusing to buy them new underwear when their current stuff is full of holes. Stuff like that. You, my dear, are just being frugal.

if the kids put holes in them on purpose then they'd have to wear them anyway. Or they would learn to sew real fast.

I know it is tough to come up with 200+ for diapers. I think I've spent $600 total on diapers and wipes. Not to mention those I've bought for my business. I don't have another 9-5 job so we depend on my husbands income as I'm sure most of you all do as well. I really feel for you Kristen. I wish you all the luck and if ever need anything let me know. I am well know for making deals and occasionally selling at cost to help another mom out.

That is so weird to me, I feel like I'm talking to myself when I say your name cause I dont know any other Kristens. lol

Yeah, like you said we do depend on my husbands income as well..we had a little nest egg but I can't even go into that and what happened it gets me all fired up lol. But living paycheck to paycheck is rough at times.

Have to live with just making do and getting by with what we have till we can afford the things we need and staying away from things we can just live with out. It's hard to do especially when you've become accustomed to that lifestyle.

But I thank you very much and I will keep you as well the others here in mind when I do make my purchases.

It is funny, even the spelling is the same. Since I just moved I have meet 6 other Kristen's around town, one is in my playgroup. It's crazy.

This economy is nuts. I'm just forever grateful I can stay home and raise my beautiful baby boy!

Lol I know. But I still get a thousand questions on just how I spell my name, is it with a C or a K, is that with an I or an E.. LOL. why does it have to be so complicated.

I agree, I am glad I am able to be home with the children. Its nice being able to watch them grow.
