I am a SAHM who makes diapers for my own children and would like to start making some to sell. If anyone has any advice to give on licensing for patterns or anything else I would greatly appreciate it. I can sew covers, AIO's, fitteds, pockets, breast pads etc... Thanks for any advice. |

I am not sure if I understand what you are asking, but I will try my best to give a quick short answer as my DGD won't allow much else! LOL
If you are making diapers from a free pattern or a pattern you purchased, you will have to contact the pattern maker to ask about selling the finished product, they each have their own rules about it.
If you have designed your own pattern that is awesome! I would then start locally with seeing how it fits on other babies in your community, and start selling there to get a following. You do have to be careful when making pocket diapers because of copyrights and you will want to read up on the new laws regarding selling children's products.
Hopefully this helps some - if not, ask more questions, we all love to help here! _________________ www.madebymama.com |

| Thanks for the info. I have purchased both Very baby and KCK patterns and am thinking of doing a license agreement with KCK for her fitteds to start off with. I was alos thinking of doing some fancy diaper covers and taking them down to some of the kids boutiques and second hand stores around me. As far as a website I would take any suggestions anyone could give me. I am not very computer litterate. Thanks-Katy |
